What is the Bond Oracle?

The Bond Oracle is a collective term for decentralised oracle networks operating under the Bond protocol, encompassing individual node operators. Its primary role is to enable secure and fast connections between smart contracts and off-chain data sources, facilitating the development of diverse blockchain applications.

Bond Oracle invokes the Bond Social Protocol and the Reward Contract to obtain social network data as well as reward rules, parameters, and other data. Through off-chain nodes, it utilises the OCR protocol for reward computation. The reliable and accurate consensus results finally obtained are transmitted to the Merkle Distributor Contract to acquire information for reward distribution and collection.

Together, these components enable Bond Oracle to create a transparent, decentralised, and automated system for reward computation and distribution.
